RE: ???????150mph????????
What tires are you using study? I used ProLine 2.2 slicks for max bite but they are thin skin'd up top.
I was having limited success with prolines 2.2 road hawgs top end but couldn't get them to stick during the launch, made for some exciting driving. It would do donuts so fast, it looked like a spinning top before I could react!
My custom tranny (nothing like it) launches when I say so GO! I can tack the engine to 15000+ rpms or idle, then dump the clutch engaging the 3.25.1 first gear that propells the car forward to 40+ mph NOW and settles the car for a half+ second later (adjustable!) it shifts into 2nd gear (1.1 tranny ratio) making the shift an extremely fun yet violent experience, I drove (more like held on) the test chassis on the wheely bars nearly the entire time so I'll need to fabricatin some trick wheely bars, might even use a thick skinned ballon for preloading the rear suspension for lauching the car straight.
Anyhow, once I dial in everything very carefully, tranny shift points, launch rpm, tweek the active 4 link along with some wieght distribution (might be 3+/- pounds RTR), I realistically see it busting 100 mph in 132 feet in a couple seconds, or at least MATCHING the electrics blistering #'s which is my primary objective of this project while doing it OUTSIDE the box.
