Default Anyone know anything about ByronF86's?

Sure. I'm working on my third one. If you had a fresh unstarted kit, you could convert it, I think, pretty well, but I don't know if I would attempt it on a built airplane.
One big issue is you would have to do some serious reinforcement in the middle of the fuselage and cut out a top hatch for access. A major job, but not impossible. The only access inside the fuse is the cheater hole on the bottom. Which you would probably want to glass over.
NONE of the servo positions or linkages on the stock sabre would I consider safe for turbine. Keep in mind the plane was designed for 100 mph, tops, and a Rossi 65 or so.
Flies very well, a real *****cat. I have a new D model one all done, just waiting on some wrist pin retainers.
