Default RE: US 120 complete

The G26 with 16X8 APC prop is mounted with three 8/32 socket head bolts. I drilled out the threads on the engine and placed a 3/8, 7 ply plywood spacer drilled for clearance between the firewall and engine and installed with blind nuts in firewall. I installed locknuts to bolts inside firewall for insurance.

Hey suitcase, I wanted to mount my G26 like that but I was told that if you mounted a G26 like you describe, it will break the lugs off in a crash. I have also heard that a G26 crank will bend in a hard crash. Can you confirm either of those myths? [sm=angry.gif][sm=angry.gif][sm=angry.gif] Did you have any down or right thrust?
