Craig, I could write a lot about this but I hate to type that much. Lets just say this, each plane has its own personality. You must try the plane with spoilerons, without spoilerons, with more elevator with less elevator. All these scenarios must be tried to find what you like. It takes time, most are not willing to tinker with the setup to get it right. When I suggest a setup in my manuals, it is exactly how I fly the plane. That does not mean you will like it or get it to perform as I do. This is a big topic, bottom line "there is no magic setup that will work for everyone. Gosh, how was I able to keep it this short.
