I seen this engine last night, after it was run a few times.. ONE word to describe the engine is junk. After the engine was run it was taken apart. The motor after a few runs looked like it was over 100 times. This is how much junk this engine is, do balance the turbine wheel they grinded the back side (which was a deep groove), which now the material is real thin right near the center section. Injectors were clogged, corrision galore, etc... Outside looked real nice and pretty, inside a nightmare!! This engine is a hazzard waiting to happen. I would not trust this engine on a test bench let alone a $3000 jet, not to mention the saftey of others while at a flying field or jet meet. ** DO NOT EVER THINK OF BUYING THIS ENGINE, NEVER!! **
DO YOU ACTUALLY OWN ONE OF THESE ENGINES?
How many times is a "few times"?
Injectors clogging could be the owner using cheap fuel and not filtering it, has nothing to do with the engine.
Hazzard, is that something from The Dukes of Hazzard?
So because of a few problems this upstart company needs to iron out, none that have been actually proven to me yet BTW, you say NEVER buy the engines. NEVER? That's a big word. Never is a LONG time. How would we have every got to the moon with this mentality? How are we ever going to see a turbine motor for less than $2000 with this mentality?
Again.....do you actually own one of these engines? If not, please have the person that does own the engine post up. I'd like to hear from the owner of the motor.
