I want to salute you guys for putting safety before the almighty dollar. That is a lot of sales you put off to ensure the product you were selling would not be unsafe for the people that buy them. I am sure there would have been hundreds and hundreds of people buying one just because they were so cheap, I would have. Thanks again for the honesty.
Yep, I'm with you on this one.
I figured a $699 turbine was in the "too good to be true" category, which is why I only ordered a fuel pump (which I haven't had a chance to test yet but will report when I've done so).
After doing a bit of digging, I've found that the local auction site here in NZ had someone trying to sell similarly Chinese-made turbine engines. Once again, the seller had no idea as to what the real engine specs or quality were and was obviously acting simply as a middle-man.
We can probably expect to see a few more JoeJets come out of the woodwork in the next 12 months or so.
