I'm running an Air Models 28x12 three blade on my 40% Extra. This prop really make the plane lock. My scores improved greatly as a result. Downside is that the downlines are a bit faster, and 3D does not have the same low end thrust. Benefits outweighed the drawback. I was scaring myself on the last quarter of rolling circles from the prop rip on my 32x10.

On another note, there is a concentrated effort to reward pilots at the Masters with quiet airplanes. The trend will be for quiet airplanes at the Don Lowe Masters this year, and really focusing in 2 years.
