Photo #1 This is the sub's DIVE motor. It's a Mabuchi 280 motor as far as I can tell.
This motor is directly below that crack I spotted in the WTC photo in my previous post. The motor's casing is rusted, the motor shaft was frozen in place but fortunately worked free after treating this motor to a few shots of WD-40.
Photo #2 Is the sub's magnet assisted ON-OFF power switch on top of the sub's steering servo assembly.
Photo #3 This is the sub's propulsion motor. This motor is even smaller than the sub's Mabuchi 280 dive motor. It was also rusted & the motor shaft was frozen in place like the dive motor. I got this motor working again after giving it a few shots of WD-40.
