Default RE: Old 2 stroke pattern fun

Hi there,

The Tornado 88 plan 370 from the September of 68’ issue of RCM is a real good old school pattern plane. It’s the teal one next to the pool

The Dirty Birdy plan 602 from the June of 75’ is also a lot of fun. It’s the one with the black canopy.

I just got done with a Gitano plan 1165 from the April of 94’ issue of RCM. It has the plan form of a modern pattern plane and the one in the article used a the Hanio .61. How ever If you are serous about using a tuned pipe with this plane, have plug in wings, removing the pipe every time you remove the wings is a bad idea. I just installed a GMS .61 on its side and installed fixed gear to reduce the amount of “BS” I would have to go though to get it in the air. The plane is very completion ready for aircraft in its class. This is the red and white plane.
