Boxxer building........
Having sold the original Boxxer, I had to build a new one, so I started cranking away today...
I don't have the CNC cut parts yet, so I can't get the wings going, but I did manage to get the top half of the fuse built along with the tail feathers. I would like to get the ailerons done tomorrow, then I have to wait for the ribs and fuse pcs to come in before I can continue..
These parts are all pretty much stick built, but each piece took less than 20mins, so there is a little over an hour's worth of work here.....
This one will be powered by an OS .50 with a Macs pipe, and will have standard radio gear just like the first one. I am hoping it will come in at around four and a half pounds (about 4 ozs lighter than the first)
I think I have finally come up with a covering scheme for it, if I can just find the time now.....
