I probably made 500 landings on the Alpha, some not so nice, and the nosegear never required adjustment. As a matter of fact, the same nosegear was responsible for the firewall being torn out of my Alpha when I hit the runway marker, a gallon jug full of water, with the nosegear. This is the same nosegear that I put on my son's LT-40. Since I have put that gear on the LT-40, it hasn't required any adjustment either. I haven't had a problem with the main gear, just the nose gear. Looks kind of like copper under the nickel plating. Just wanted to give an alternative to anyone with an LT-40 that wanted to keep it a trike undercarriage...
