I had a terrible time with the belly pan on my Extra 66". I opted to glue it on and found out after it dried that I did a crappy job of lining it up. Once I turned it right side up I notice huge gaps in the front. I started to seal them with calking then finally decided to rip it off and install a built up pan.
Vector Flight Customer Service offered me a new pan, plus a canopy because mine was slightly less than perfect. They are also sending me more covering to repair the damage I have done gluing the belly pan on. At no charge!!!
This plane is built with quality in mind, and the sevice department has the customer in mind.
If my extra flies as well as I'm hoping, I can see an Edge and Suhkoi being added to my hangar. If nothing else but because I enjoy haveing true customer support. ( In 13 days I have had at least 20 e-mails from them. So I am guessing I have sent them 40 or so!!! All of them answered in a polite manor, and all full of helpfull information!)
I bet they will be happy when I get this built and finally leave them alone!!
