Sorry to disagree, but you are in error. The two Magnum engines I own are quite satisfactory as are countless others.

I have no doubt that "some" Magnum engines are unsatisfactory just as "some" of any brand inevitably prove to have faults.

Your rather confusing final (sentence? paragraph? group of words?) seems to acknowledge the above.

Sweeping generalities such as "all", "none", etc rarely prove true
