Default T-750 starting problems

I have a T-750 which I bought new from Tiano. It is a very low time, awesome powerhouse. BUt I have a few problems which some of you may be able to help me iron out. It will not start as reliably as other 750's which I have seen. I am using Powermax as my starter, are others having better luck with butane? Also does it matter at which angle the glow plug is mounted, should it be straight up, or does it matter that I have the engine mounted a 1/4 turn around and the glow plug mounted at about 45 degrees from horizontal? What should my settings be in the startup box for "gas" and "glow plug". I have adjusted these numbers slightly up and down with little or no effect. I have purchased a new ECU battery thinking that maybe the battery strenghth might be playing a part in the start up, but this has not seemed to fix it either. It usually requires up to 5 or 6 attempts to get a light.
I am using the engine in a SM F-15 mounted stock with a Tam pipe.
Any help would be appreciated. I am located at about 135 feet abouve sea level.
Thanks.
Tommy
