Which engine did you get? We got a couple of guys here with the VMAX 52 and it was so 'impressive' on the first few flights. Now they both have problems with the tuning. They are both running on Pitts style mufflers so that might be the cause. The engines will not peak and tuning is not reliable. Oh well ... perhaps the plane does not like the Pitts muffler and hot humid climate.

As for the plane be a little careful, one newbie snapped the wings of this Apache trainer. He was not doing any really high G turns. DO a search on VMAR and see what is being said.
