Unless you have better luck than all the other VQ pilots, you most likly will rip the gear out of the soft wood.
I had the original VQ Zero during my first year when I was a newbie in this hobby, and that thing lasted well over 70 flights on the original gear mounts. Unless you are constantly making one super hard landing after another, the gear mounts will hold up fine.
