Default RE: Fingers or Thumbs on the Transmitter?

Those guys who drive down the road with their caps on sideways and their seat reclined 45 degrees are exceedingly comfortable, but are they high-performance drivers? I doubt it.
If you want to improve your performance you need to try different things. Some technique or posture experiments may be initially uncomfortable, but you will have to stick with it for several flights (maybe 20 or so) to gauge the real benefits or shortcomings.
I’ve been through this with thumbs, fingers, long sticks, short sticks, trays, straps, and all the stick modes. It’s been worth it and I’d do it all again.
