Here I know one of the LHS makes an order twice a week. One problem however, is that they get the majority of their stock from Hobbico/Great Planes/Tower/Whatever and if they don't have it stock or the person on the other end doesn't check both warehouses, the part may not get shipped out to the LHS. All I have to do is visit Tower's website ahead of time and if the part has "late" whatever, I know the LHS can't get the part if they don't have it in stock.
