I looked into home brewing my own fuel and the savings were not nearly what I thought they would be. You have to buy huge quantities of the ingredients to see an appreciable savings. I know you can make the FAI fuel cheaper but the saitos love that nitro.
There is an interesting thread on this. Check out post 152. This guy can make a gallon of 15% for 10 dollars and some change. I can get a case of 15% for 48.00. Not worth it for me unless I buy a 55.00 gal. drum of methanol.
