I just upgraded to brushless HiMaxx from the standard GWS 350c. Is performance better? - Definitely! Is it miraculous - not really. You can now get some motors pretty cheap (HiMaxx, E-Flite). Me, being a cheap SOB started cheap, so maybe that's why my brushless conversion didn't know my socks off. Might be different with a Razor or AXI. Remember, the new ESC you'll need for brushless costs as much or more than most motors. That's where I put my $ so that I could upgrade to a high current draw motor sometime without having to re-invest in a new ESC.
