They're trying to help you out buy selling you better stuff dude. I don't thing they're trying to screw you for money.
P.S. to all.: These are the main reasons why LHS don't stock the right stuff or just don't plain have it. A: LHS owners/employees aren't psychic; you have to tell them what you want or at least give them hints as to what you think they should stock. B: We are at the mercy of the distributers. If they don't have it we certianly won't have it and will continue to not have it until the dist. decides to send it out. Also, some dist. don't even carry some products; just ask any LHS that orders through HRP or Horizon how hard it is to get a hold of Novarossi parts or even RB stuff. The reason is because those manufacturers choose to sell thier products exclusivly to on-line shops; which is why you can find Novarossi and RB stuff so readily on on-line shops, but so scarce in most LHS everywhere.
I do understand though that some "experts" aren't really the sharpest bowlingballs in the shed and some of them should be flogged for being that stupid. lol
LMFAO!!! What an arse! You should have bet on it for money; like 100.00 bucks or something!!!

I was at my lhs yesterday browsing around and the "rc guy" (thats what they call him cause none of the other guys know much about rc) comes up and starts talking to me. we start talking about cars and hes going on about how everyone likes the lst but he thinks its crap cause the first one the shop sold snapped a shock in half in the parking lot while a guy was breaking it in. so after another few random topics come up i ask him what their best selling car was. he says tmaxx, so i was like ya that trx 2.5 enging that comes with it is pretty bad ass for a .15. now he looks at me like im a total moron and says, its not a .15, its a .25, and a crappy one at that because he has a .18 in his duratrax that is faster. now he seemed like a pretty knowledgable guy so i asked him if he was sure that the trx enginge was a .25, even though we were looking at a tmaxx with the body off and there was a savage next to it that actually comes with a .25 and the engine was about twice as big. he of course says he is sure and gives me one of those "i know what im talking about because im the rc guy and you are just some random guy who doesnt even own his own truck yet" kinda looks. now, is it just me or should the guy in charge of tuning and mantaining the track at our hobby shop be a little more knowledgable about the cars he is working on? i could be wrong, but it seemed to me like that trx engine was not a .25, it is far too small.
