I have a friend that had this same thing happen on 2 different Quadar 42's. Another friend did a weld job on the lugs and the engines kept on flying. I realize that everyone dosen't have a buddy with a TIG welder but there are options to either chunking the engine or going electronic route. It can be done, the question is it worth it to you?
