If experimenting is what you want to do try adding in some flapperons and spoilerons. You may need to add another servo or 2 to mix them together I dont know how you have yours set up. But it may be worth tinkering with. Just to see how it changes the flight characteristics of a trainner. Not that you need to make one more stable.
