Default RE: Evo .46 NT

Before I totalled it being stupid, I flew my Twist on a Super Tigre .51, Magnum 46 XL, and the Evo 46NT. All these are bargain cost engines. My opinion of each:

Super Tigre .51 - ringed, ball bearings, gobs of power, light weight compared to the others, hard to get a good transition, touchy carb takes a while to get the idle right.

Magnum .46 XL - ball bearings, ABC, good power, medium weight, easy to start, carb barrel screw has a tendency to come loose.

Evo .46 NT - ball bearings, ABC, power between the Magnum and the ST, heavy, good throttle response, carb factory settings for idle not good.

All three were run on 15% nitro 20 syn/castor blend fuel and an APC 12.25 X 3.75 3D prop. For the Twist, I found the Evo the best suited as the power coupled with the smooth throttle response made for good 3d flight. For a non-3D plane, I would recommend the ST.51 as I found it to have a good power to weight ratio, but setting the carb up for good fast transitions is difficult.
