I don't know a whole lot about aerodynamics, but I'm curious on your rudder mod. It seems you cut off the wrong end of the rudder if it couples towards the gear. Have you ever been flying above half throttle and flipped the flaps on? They create so much drag that it will pull you down at first. I think that's what's happening with knife edging. The bottom of the rudder is pulling more drag than the top. What do you think?
I plan on buying a UCD60 this winter, so I've been reading all the posts and getting in my head what I need to do to make it fly perfect. I don't like mixing, I like flying.
