Default RE: Capiche 140

Three nice flights today . Starting to get confidence that the engine wont quit on me, so starting to play a bit more. I'm learning to fly it slower, it does not need speed, but as I am used to smaller planes, I tend to fly it fast.

Really enjoying how smoothly it does the smooth stuff, managed to do a rolling circle KE to KE, bang on and all the way round. Fantastic.

Elevators are completely locked in, just full elevator and it just settles in. Harriers have a bit of wing rock, but not too much, but can be a bit nasty in the transition from elevator to harrier. Also has a tendancy to steer to the right (may be a bit too much side thrust? dont think so though).

Tried a couple of torque rolls, but a bit nerve racking as it will only just pull out with the 120[:'(]. Certainly not enough power to get out of trouble[X(].

Tried a tumble and that went surprisingly well, though did twist through 90 degrees at first [&:]. Otherwise stayed locked in and wings level.

Yep, starting to get used to it. Cant wait for the 140, it needs that extra power.
