With all of the choices these days, your servo selection will vary depending on how you build the model and what will fit. People have been flying .45 sized ducted fans for many years on standard servos (Futaba 148 for example). I would use good coreless servos for the main flight surfaces. The manufacturor should recommend a minimum torque for the servos.
