For what it's worth, hobby related web sites don't have to be high dollar investments. The key though is to keep them current with updates and new imagery. Without continuous updates users will not return on a regular basis. Furthermore if the info. on the site is out of date, then there is no reason for users to go there at all.

I am continually disappointed that the AMT web site is only updated every 6 months or so, as a result I hardly go there. By contrast David Shulman and Bob update the BVM website many times a month. I probably go there once or twice a week. RCUniverse has new content every few minutes. I come here at least once a day.
