Hey, what can I say, I like a good debate. The only difference between a pull-pull with a bell crank and a direct hook up to the servo is cable tension at neutral. Flight load on the servo is the same either way. We're not talking ridiculous neutral position tension on the cables as it's not needed. The servo bearings aren't gonna wear out sitting at neutral. I use direct hook up myself and I personally know a few others who fly the heck out of their GS with direct hook up. Never seen a servo bearing wear out from it. I believe the last thread on this was titled "Pull-Pull Tension" in the GS forum.
