Even though hurricanes bring about terrific winds/rain etc., they do move out and Frances came up the east and we had rain all day yesterday, steady. There is flooding here with some areas that got up to almost 8 inches of rain. Canandians, its coming to pay you a visit next!
I have a little water in basement (airplane shop area) but no big deal. The little stream that runs thru the farm here is sorta like a mini Mississippi River.... So, a hurricane not only affects southern states but it will move inland and cause some drenching rains and floods.
BTW, this is in western PA, 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.
