Default RE: Blue Devil

Cat,

I too, have built this kit into R/C. I used small r/c motors ( I believe they were of 380 sized) and made my own prop shafts. I also substitued Raboesch props (yes they make them that small) and U-Joints. Also, I used a Novak Rooster speed control and Nicads. I have been toying with the Proboat speed control on my latest project, which is available from Horizon Hobbies for about $40.00, and so far I like them. They set up easily and work quite well. In addition, they don't take up a ton of room.

Anyway, the Blue Devil can build up to a very nice Destroyer. It is large (125th scale) and allows you to do as much detailing as you would like. I did make my own mast as I did not like the cheaply made plastic one but that is up to you.

Good luck with yours!

Pete
