There are very good radio packages available for $300 or less. The issue will be whether you want to buy a package. Most come with standard servos which will be too big for most electrics. Read the article on intro radios for more on this.

As for next planes, htere are well over 100 EXCELLENT next electric planes for you to consider. Here are a few.
