Honestly, I think it would be decent on a lot of surfaces, but it won't be GREAT on any of them. It's too aggressive to hook up very well on concrete, and it's too tight to hook up in dirt (hard or soft) It's just going to pack with dirt and become a slick. Grass, there is no such thing as hooking up on grass, you just need ground clearance to float over it.

Again, I stand by what I said. Different surfaces require different tread patterns. A road tire will never be a good dirt tire, and a good dirt tire will never be a good road tire.
