Got my LS 150 back!
Got a call Saturday from the guys at the field. Someone put a plane down out in the woods and while looking for it, they stumbled across my stick. I went down and picked it up and it doesn't look much worse for the crash. Slight crumpling on the edge of one side of the horiz stabilizer is the only crash related physical damage. The guy said it was sitting in the grass just like someone had put it down with the fuse on its wheels and the wing next to it long ways.
The first thing I notices when I picked it up was that it has been wet. The balsa is warped some and according to the scales it's now 4 oz heavier than when I finished it. Luckily, after some emergency moisture control measures it looks like the RX and servos are fine. The motor also looks to be ok physically, but I just coated it in oil for now and will tear it down this week.
Only real problem is my new little Nimh battery pack is down to 0.8 volts for the entire pack. Think there is any possibility to recharge the pack? The ends of the cells are sealed in a clear plastic coating, so no corrosion or anything, just the extreme discharge.
All in all much better news than a few weeks ago.

P.S. I would have just updated the old thread, but somebody posted some pics that were so disturbing that the mods locked the thread...... [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
