I dunno, he must have been frightened by thread drift as a child, because he sure would do his best to stamp it out.

As a forum newbie, I was flayed more than once for making an off-topic comment...<G>

BTW, Marc, on the topic of proper grammar and spelling, I happen to agree 100% with Pete. But given the responses that we see every time the subject comes up, you are correct to minimize it. It is just not important to most board denizens, apparently.
