Default Great Planes 1/4 scale shoestring

I have the shoestring arf from great planes and I realy like it....could be the best arf ever from great planes......61FX with pitts muffler bsm....not over powerd but still very fast....went together very easly ..well constucted arf..I beefed up the firewalland the wing holed down plate but I do that to all my arf anyway....no lead to balance weight = 8# 2%....????? plane fly very well but not super aerobatic this plane loves to fly fast in pylon racing ( nascar of airplanes )........the only bad thing is it likes to land fast...the bottum is of open stringer design and weeds punch holes in the monokote easly...landing gear block area is not well supported and came out during a dead stick landing that didnt make the field( ran out of fuel).....if I was to make a new one I would beef this area up before I flow it....the airplane is very easy to see ..but not to tell top from bottom I would checker the bottom of the wings.......after 30+ flights the wheel paints are beging to crack badly i dont whant to take them off ase they realy make this plane look good ....evin with this small problems its still a great ARF and dont be afraid to get one....its in the class of world models kyosho yellow ext...maybe evin better :sunsmiley
