But the way I read the rules if they are RC (controlled in flight) rockets you can fire them from a plane, just like you can drop an RC rocket plane off of a mother plane
I think I said Rocket Boost RC is OK--but check with the local club. They may have other ideas.

Firing Rockets from your RC could trigger an exclusion. Didn't say anything about dropping.
