Teresa's answer is the most sensible option ( in this case).
I have always encouraged flying at alternative spots where there is not any danger of hurting anyone, ie. way out of the city environment ( "Ho Hum" I hear Crashem say,

), but I agree with
Crashem, when he says that
ksechler is being a little dramatic - a worst case scenario I suppose to emphasize the possibility.
We're a bit spoilt in my country, where the chances of being sued are much much less than in the USA, and it may not always be like that. - So I do see the point in the warnings, but that doesn't mean you can't ( given the right conditions and flying environment), does it?
