Yeah i was just gonna say this, with drifting R/C cars (well...the ones that i've driven) you steer with the throttle, but use the steering to line up the drift.
Having constant wide open throttle on a nitro engine, especially under no load, is a recipe for a seize or snapped conrod.....and its too damn loud, fuel consumption would be high.
The smoothe power of an electric motor is better suited to drifting IMO
