speaking of plane colors, i saw a guy a few years ago lose a beautiful f-86. the thing was done up in that presto chrome colered stuff .. the sun was behind the pilots at around 10:30 am, nice and bright .. the moment the plane was up over the shadow of the trees, it turned into a nice bright ball of blurred light, could not see anything but the reflection of the sun ! , the plane hit the ground within 30 seconds ...

I like the way that BVM metalkote looks, no glare, but still aluminum looking ..
