I fly almost all foam planes since they are so much easier to repair. If you want a performance plane the GWS Formosa seems to be a good choice and for a more relaxed flight I like the GWS Tiger Moth 400. I agreee with the Beaver looking a little cheesy but most of the GWS planes are great flying planes for the price.
