Glad to hear it will ok to use the steel rods. I was just going to ask this question myself. i'm in the final stages with my SE. I dont trust the solder on connections that can with and I dont want to worry about the heat expanding the nylon rods . I bought some 2-56 rods with some Sullivan Golden clevises. thanks, JT
