I used a dye called Rit Dye for clothing. You can find it in grocery store's and department stores. Heat water and dye to 140 degrees. When it reaches 140 try to maintain the temp. But DO NOT allow it to go over 140 or the canopy will shrink/melt. Some people put salt in the water and dye. I didn't use the salt and it turned out fine. Hope this helps you out.
