Default RE: need help selecting a radio

You need PCm if you want to flu gas planes.
The eclipse is good, but if you ever fly a large model, it might not have every thing you want. Futaba is trash, I have used them in ths past, never again.
Ask yourself,"What will I fly in the next 2-3 years" and buy accordingly.
I purchased 3 radios before my 2nd year of flying! One Hi-Tec, one Futaba, Finally a JR8103
I was trying to get by as cheaply as possible, but I would have been money ahead if I would have bought the JR 1st.

I finally made the leap, and I wish I had made it sooner.

P.S. Pick up any JR or Hi-tec radio, hold it like your flying, look up and away from the radio, and work the sticks and switches. Do the same with the any Futaba, and you'll swear your holding a cheap cigar box full of gravel!!!!
