I disagree. I maidened my trainer and was flying my UCD .46 less than 3 months later(75 flights on it now), closely followed by a H9 Cap 232 and a Funtana 90, and I am hoping to mabye get my 28% Edge airborne before winter rolls around.
Some people pick it up faster than others
I don't think it's such a jump from a Super Sportster to a 1/4 scale edge if you are cautious at first. I think he is just a little confused by which way is which when it comes to CG. I've seen a flyer at my field with many years of experience tell me that moving the CG back makes the plane nose heavy...!
