Decided to make a variant of the mount.

Used two mounts to make one on the first version. Set the depth of first stand-off post on the lathe and cut them all to the same size. It came out pretty much to spec. Lined the spinner-backplate up with the nose ring.

Here are pictures of first mount. The idea is to provide a stronger rear support for the crankcase without adding a ton of weight.
