I shall try this set-up without a nose-ring first. I use the gold annodised aluminum nose-rings with a thinner o-ring for the OS 1.60. It will be easy to add a nose-ring to this set up.

The beauty of these wooden ARF's is that you can change a bunch of stuff and just iron on some new covering. One background plan that I have is to make a dummy center piece and fit plug-on Tempataion wings. (You always have a set of those lying around - right (VBG)). The center piece would bolt on like the current one-piece wing but have a wing tube and anti-rotation pins. You could do this without altering te original plane or wing ---- and this was before breakfast :-)
