Construction continues.
I added a small ply block to where the canopy hold down bolts pass through the fuse. The bolts pulled through the balsa too easily. Pic 1

Next was constructing and installing the vertical stab. This was just a straight up stick construction with 1/16 balsa sheeting. It is glued to the rear of the fuse. Simple steps and all turned out well.
