I really don't read Troy that way. True, he is sponsered by YS, JR and Morgan Fuel and he feels they are all very good for his style of flying. That being said, he is also a mechanical engineer and from what I have seen he takes most everything with a bit of skepticism until it proves itself.
As far as him touting the YS 160DZ, I have watched him fly models with a 160DZ that has between 500 and 600 flights on it. It still pulls like gang busters and it never quits unless he runs it out of fuel. Why would he not like it? What's not to like? What should he say, it's only good if you know how to set it up? That goes without saying. They are all a pain in the neck if you don't know their idiosyncricies.
I would rather have one of the top flyers in the country giving us his side of the story than never saying anything and letting us sweat it out and find out for ourselves.
