Cut the foam just the way that the instructions say for the plywood mount.....the CF mount replaces the old plywood mount. For strength on the nose we offer the 2mm notches so you can run 2mm rod or tubing from the front of the nose to the wing. This improves the durability of the Shock Flyer. Or....you can inlay .5mm X 3mm in the foam itslef. I have done it both ways.
